Just like I promised, here are some behind the scenes info on what we have been up to in Denmark for the past 6 weeks!
Taking a very designer tour of Copenhagen! First stop was Designer Zoo.. after a pastry or two!!! Then on to Ann Linnemann Galleri, Keramic og Glasvaerkstedet, David Samling and so much more!!!
On the very relaxing train journey home I found this very interesting article to read!- very inspiring and good way to end the day.
Working away in my own little studio space, experimenting with new making techniques!
…..3D PRINTING!!!!! 🙂
These are some BIG firings that we did here! Also my first experience of Soda firing, what a process!!!
After a long day in the studio, we would return to after dinner talks and presentations from some very exciting practitioners working in the ceramic field, such as; Christin Johannsen, Christina Schou Christiansen, Richard Launder, Nina Hole, Priscilla Mouritzen, and each other.
So, to the last few remaining days. The time to start setting up the gallery space has arrived and photographing all of the work with Ole Akhoj. The Gallery is looking very exciting by now, and is definitely worth a visit. I hope you have enjoyed my ‘behind the scenes’ info… and I look forward to seeing you all soon!!
